Program Description: I teach Creative Writing at Halawa Prison here in Hawaii and have compiled a book with guidelines and poetic examples for sixteen writing sessions. If this can be a use to anyone in your organization, you have my permission to replicate any part of the project. I just want to encourage meaningful experiences for the prison population. I’ve attached a word document of those guidelines for your review.
